He served on the AISD School Board of Directors and as president from 1976 – 1988. He also served on the Andrews Appraisal Board of Directors from 1992 – 1999. He was involved in Little and Pony League Baseball, where he enjoyed coaching his sons. He also played catcher for a men’s slow pitch softball team. He was a long time and faithful member of the First Baptist Church in Andrews where he taught Sunday school classes for the 2nd grade with Maurie Finely. They made sure that no child left their class without knowing the story of salvation.
He was born on April 27, 1932 in Winsor, North Carolina. He married Evelyn Louise Cowling on July 21, 1953 in Wichita Falls, Texas. James was a Baptist; drove a truck for Pride for several years and for Permian; and drove an activity bus for Andrews schools for 4 years. James served in the Air Force during the Korean War Conflict. He was preceded in death by his wife Evelyn on June 17, 2004 and a daughter Wilma Southern on May 28, 1981.
Military Service
She was a lifetime member of the Pink Ladies Auxillary in Andrews, and a member of the Andrews Church of Christ. He was pre-deceased by his parents and a son Michael Neil Sealy, who died in an automobile accident the day after he finished his junior year at Texas Christian University. We are sad to announce that on December 15, 2022 we had to say goodbye to Rachel Rebekah Roubison of Andrews, Texas, born in Drumright, Oklahoma. Ted died Saturday, July 23, 2005 at Willow Hill Assisted Care Center in Andrews. She was born on October 12, 1912 in Eolian, Texas. She married Carl P. “Mutt” Ellis on September 8, 1934 in Andrews. Ted owned Andrews Tiny Tech Nursery School from 1958 to 1987. She was a member of the Means Memorial United Methodist Church. She was born October 6, 1909 in Kiefer, Oklahoma to Howard Harvey Hines and Hazel Dale Rutter Hines.

Funeral Service
Julian was born November 16, 1924 in Lorane, Texas. In 1928, at the age of three, he and his family moved to Andrews. He served in the US Army during World War II. He worked in the oilfield for many years in West Texas. He married Lou Ann Westfall April 5, 1963 in Andrews. He was a long time member of Grace Baptist Church and loved to serve as a greeter there. He enjoyed working in his garden trying to make his roses bloom.

She was an RN at Permian Regional Medical Center for 30 years and was a volunteer as a Pink Lady at the hospital for many years. Rachel enjoyed baking, volunteering and participating in outreach programs. Rachel adored her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and they brought her great joy! She was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene in Andrews.
She loved to be involved in church and she loved to sing. The family would like to thank Carolyn Whiddon and Home Hospice in Andrews for their special care of Frankie. He was born June 9, 1959 in Andrews to Joe Clifton Rich and Vera Jean Orndorff Rich. He attended Andrews High School and moved to Odessa in 1993. He married Sonia Ann Adams on December 21, 1999 in Odessa.
She taught school in Andrews for over 20 years, and also taught school in Jal, New Mexico, Katy, and in Sutton County for a ranching family. Her husband preceded her in death on February 7, 1991. She moved to Odessa in 1994 and then to Bedford in 2002.

Donnie Ray Ives
He loved his Grandchildren and enjoyed spoiling them. He married Lou Ann Scoggins May 27, 1961 in Tioga, Texas. He worked in the oil field for years and was known as "Levi" to many of his co-workers. He ran the first Cat Drilling Rig in West Texas and was featured on the Cover of Texas Monthly Magazine. In 1988 he started his own business, Perry's Tire Store, in Andrews and Operated it untill he retired in 2001. She was a File Clerk for Amaco for 30 years from 1952 to 1982.

Johnie was born on November 2, 1936 in Caldwell County, Texas to Johnie Charles Griffin and Bertha Pearl Gifford Griffin. He was raised in Coleman, Texas where he graduated from Coleman High School in 1954. He married Bobbie Fields, the love of his life, on August 2, 1956. After graduating from the University of Texas with a Petroleum Engineering degree in 1960 they moved shortly thereafter to Andrews, Texas. He worked for Amoco Production company from 1968 – 1996 and retired as a District Forman. He enjoyed being a long time member of the Amoco Annuitant Club.
